This show home uses windows and doors from two ranges to achieve seamless flow.

THE STORY

The designers of this home chose a mix of the Vantage Residential Series and Metro Series suites to give the home its cohesive look. Metro Series 2.2 metre high sliding doors perfectly fitted the bill for much needed additional width to gain access to the front and rear decks. In one of the downstairs living areas, narrower single moving sliding doors were used from the Vantage Residential range.

Awning windows (top-hinged) are the main type used, with sliding windows, louvre and high level electrically operated windows to meet specific needs. The sliding window was specifically chosen to sit above the kitchen bench to allow ease of opening and closing.

With around the clock ventilation in mind, switch operated, high-level top opening windows were chosen for the lounge area. And powdercoated aluminium louvre windows were strategically placed to allow ventilation next to the Metro Series sliders when closed.

The designers matched the Matt Titania powdercoat finish with the dark grey and white exterior colour scheme as a complement to the home's neutral interior palette.
