Colour disclaimers

Bowing and heat

Dark colours may not be suitable for locations that are exposed to prolonged direct sunlight as this may cause the surface of the window or door frame to become hot to touch, so careful consideration needs to be made when choosing your joinery and entrance door colour/s.

Frames and entrance doors with a thermal polyamide strip built into them may experience slight temporary bowing due to the difference in temperature between the inside and outside of the door, especially when exposed to direct sunlight.

We stress that this is a temporary effect and the window or door will revert back to its normal shape as the aluminium cools. This may occur primarily with dark colours, so can be minimised by selecting lighter external colours or increasing cover over the area.

Powdercoating colours

Our low sheen entrance door surface finishes are developed to specifically endure knocks and scuffs in this high traffic area. The textured finish of the  powdercoating looks slightly different to the powdercoating on your aluminium joinery.

Special effects

We can create a range of specialised finishes for a high gloss finish or to replicate metallics, marbles, and more. Speak to your local manufacturer about the effect you'd like to achieve and what options are available.
